Responding to a reporter’s question on Maratha quota demand, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari on Sunday, said that reservation will do no good when there are no jobs. He stated, “Let us assume the reservation is given. But there are no jobs. Because in banks, the jobs have shrunk because of IT. The government recruitment is frozen. Where are the jobs?”
Later in the day, Congress president Rahul Gandhi took a jab at the Modi government and said, “Excellent question Gadkari Ji.”
Gandhi took to Twitter on Sunday and said that every Indian today is asking the same question, “Where are the jobs?”
