Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli was called out by journalist Dhanya Rajendran for posting an uninformed tweet about the prevailing flood situation in Kerala.
In a tweet on Friday, Kohli issued a ‘public warning’ and advised people in Kerala to remain indoors.
Everyone in Kerala, please be safe and stay indoors as much as you can. Hope the situation recovers soon. Also, thanking the Indian army and NDRF for their incredible support in this critical condition. Stay strong and stay safe.

Rajendran then gave a reality check to the captain about the crisis in Kerala.
Staying indoors has created issues for a lot of people. JFYI. ???? https://t.co/W5DkCAgaTh
