The students of a government school in Sambhal district, Uttar Pradesh have to wash utensils which are used for mid-day meals, Go News reported.
Even basic infrastructure is missing in many schools across Uttar Pradesh, the report added. When a Basic Shiksha Adhikari (administrator) VP Singh was asked why the students are made to wash, he replied by saying, “An inquiry has been ordered.”
The local villagers have informed the district administration on several occasions, but no action has been taken yet.
