Samajwadi Party youth wing leader Richa Singh on Wednesday, February 13 alleged that she was brutally attacked by Uttar Pradesh Police and Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) members at Allahabad University on Tuesday, February 12.
Singh has posted a picture on Twitter in which she can be seen on a hospital bed. She has also mentioned that the police have registered a false case.

According to an NDTV report, the Samajwadi Party leaders protested in Prayagraj, Jaunpur, Jhansi, Kannauj, Balrampur, Jalaun, Azamgarh and Gorakhpur and Lucknow after Yogi Adityanath government denied Akhilesh Yadav the permission to fly to Allahabad on Tuesday.
Akhilesh took to Twitter and asserted that the BJP government stopped him as they were scared.

In a detailed statement on Facebook, Akhilesh underlined that the BJP government has “betrayed the youth of the country”. “They have lost Uttar Pradesh but more than an election they have lost the faith that the youth of this country reposed in them. They have betrayed the aspirations and hopes of crores of young people in the blind pursuit of creating a monochrome India.” Pointing fingers at Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP chief Amit Shah, the SP chief wrote, “Let me explain the remote control politics of Two and a Half Men.”
