Former External Affairs Minister and veteran BJP leader Sushma Swaraj passed away on Tuesday, August 6 after suffering a cardiac arrest.
She was 67 years old. She served as the External Affairs Minister from 2014-2019.
A seven-time MP, Swaraj did not contest the 2019 Lok Sabha elections citing health issues.

Swaraj had also served served as the chief minister of Delhi for a brief period in 1998.
She will be cremated with full state honours on Wednesday, August 7.
