Ashoke Pandit, a popular right-wing troll and filmmaker on Thursday said that the rape threats against Congress spokesperson Priyanka Chaturvedi’s daughter were “legitimate”.
Recently, a man who is followed by PM Narendra Modi on Twitter, issued rape threats against Chaturvedi’s daughter. After she lodged a formal complaint with the police, the accused was arrested.
In an attempt to attack Chaturvedi and journalists Rajdeep Sardesai and Swati Chaturvedi, Pandit went on to claim that what happened with her was because of what she had “sowed”.
Pandit stooped down to a very low level and teamed the rape threats “legitimate sexual abuse”.

The fact that Bhartiya Janta Party’s (BJP’s) supporters can go to the extent of justifying sexual abuse, only to uphold the so-called reputation of the party is extremely disturbing.
