The individuals who came to attend Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rally in Jaipur on Saturday were reportedly forced to defecate in the open as the Rajasthan government made no provision for public toilets.
Furthermore, people who came wearing black clothes were denied entry, ABP reported. They were asked to remove their black T-shirts and vests, if they wanted to attend the rally.
Around sixty students from Jaipur’s Kaushal Vikas Yojana were also denied entry because one of the students was wearing a black vest.
The step was probably taken in light of a number of people in the crowd waving black flags and banners when Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje started to speak at a rally in March.
The BJP government in Rajasthan has reportedly spent Rs 7.23 crore on transportation of these individuals whom they are referring as “beneficiaries” to attend Modi’s rally.
