Congress president Rahul Gandhi addressed a political rally at Dungarpur, Rajasthan on April 23. In the speech, Gandhi attacked the Narendra Modi-led BJP government for anti-poor and anti-tribal policies as well as over alleged corruption in the Rafale deal.

- In the last five years, Narendra Modi has hurt the adivasis the most. If injustice has been done to you for five years, then Congress party will give you NYAY (justice) in the next five years.
- I want to give this message to India’s tribal people that the government formed after 2019 will be your government.
- Previously, you used to get money for MGNREGA, money for 100 days of work, after 2019 elections you will get 150 days.
- From NYAY Yojana, without doing any work, Rs 6,000 per month, so Rs 72,000 in a year and in five years Rs 3,60,000, will be deposited straight into your bank account by the Congress party and me.
- 25 crore people — so five crore families within five years. Rs. 3,60,000 will be deposited in their bank accounts, I guarantee this.
- For the first time in history, Indian government will deposit money straight into the bank account of every poor Indian. I will tell you why I am doing it, it’s because Narendra Modi has deposited lakhs and crores straight into the bank account of thieves like Anil Ambani. I will take money out from their bank account and deposit it directly in your account books.
- The first time in 70 years, 15 people fled after stealing 1 lakh crore rupees from India.

Rajasthan goes to the polls in the fourth and fifth phase of the 2019 Lok Sabha election, on April 29 and May 6 respectively.
