A day after a Uttar Pradesh police officer was brutally murdered in Bulandshahr by a mob, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath attended a Kabaddi event in Gorakhpur on Tuesday, December 4. Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Dinesh Sharma were also busy campaigning for Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in poll-bound Rajasthan.

The chief minister was also seen enjoying a light and sound show as a part of Sansthapak Samaroh Shobha Yatra in Gorakhpur on Monday evening along with Chattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh. In a callous display of insensitivity, the CM shamelessly shared multiple images of the event on his Twitter handle, while the death of Inspector Subodh Kumar Singh reflected upon the poor law and order situation in the state on the same day.

Besides attending the Kabbadi competition, Adityanath and Uttar Pradesh Sports Minister Chetan Chauhan were also busy showing Digvijaynath Smriti Bhawan in the Gorakhnath Temple to Singh.

Meanwhile, the two deputy chief ministers also updated their Twitter page regularly with images from their Rajasthan trip. Sharma shared his day’s programme, which indicated that he has no intention of returning to the state to take stock of the matter.

Maurya was also busy holding political rallies in Rajasthan.

Finally, CM Adityanath did call a meeting with the DGP and other top security officials at 8.30 PM to discuss the law and other situation in the state.
