Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday, March 16 thanked several individuals, including Nirav Modi and YouTuber Dhruv Rathee on Twitter for supporting the “Main Bhi Chowkidar” movement. The prime minister’s account tagged Nirav Modi’s fake account and later deleted the tweet. The important aspect to be noted in this episode is the fact that Modi tagged and expressed his gratitude to several individuals who are critical of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government.
Twitter users even wondered who was handling the account and posted funny tweets. Many opposition party leaders also reacted after the tweets went viral on social media.
