In election-bound Madhya Pradesh, state police have seized Rs 29.5 lakhs from a car which allegedly belonged to a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) member.
In a 39-second video clip being shared on Twitter, an MP state police official said, “(He is) saying that he has come from Seth Nagar. Rs 29.5 lakhs were seized from his car. That time, he did not have… checking, he did not have any papers related to the money. That is why, we have seized the money. And, the Income Tax department will now take necessary action.”

Arvind Jalaj, who shared the video clip on Twitter said, “Well done MP police! Rs 29.5 lakhs recovered from this man’s car. Any guesses which party he works for? This is the party that imposed Demonetisation on hapless 125 crore people to clean out black money. Shame on them.”
