A two-year-old child allegedly died as nurses are on strike at a government hospital in Damoh, Madhya Pradesh. The nurses are demanding an investigation against Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Ramkrishna Kusmaria’s son Ramu Kusmaria, who is accused of misbehaving with a few nurses, Go News reported.

On Sunday night, Kusmaria entered the labour room along with his associates and asked the staff to treat a pregnant woman who was accompanying him. After misbehaving with everyone, he slapped a nurse as they were treating another woman, the staff alleged.

“Besides thorough investigation, we want security. Such incidents happened even before. But, this time the person ended up slapping a nurse. Tomorrow someone might come and kill us”  Babita, a nurse told Go News.
