In a video clip that has now gone viral on social media, Madhya Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA from Indore, Usha Thakur can be seen lamenting the ‘eclipse of dynastic’ in the party.
Thakur says that the party changed her seat from Indore-3 to Mhow constituency, in order to accommodate BJP general secretary Kailash Vijaywargiya’s son, Aakash Vijayvargiya, reported TOI
Labelling the action a ‘political injustice’, she says, “Politics is a mission for me. I have not entered politics to take commission. You are facing difficulty in accepting me as a candidate. I was not sent here as part of some secret understanding. Political injustice has been done to me. The eclipse of dynasty that plagues the Congress has also come to the BJP,” reported the Indian Express.
Towards the end of the clip, Thakur also says, “Humaare Rashtriya Adhyaksh ko set karke…, meri wo vidhansabha (Indore-3)..(After ‘fixing’ the BJP national president, my constituency )”, lamenting that her assembly seat was taken away from her after a purported ‘setting’ with the BJP supremo Amit Shah. The video abruptly ends after this.
Thakur was reportedly addressing a gathering of armymen in Mhow constituency.
