In Kalyan Lok Sabha constituency, the voters were not allowed to cast their votes on Monday, April 29 in a polling booth as the Election Commission official didn’t arrive on time. Moreover, when they were shifted to another booth, they faced difficulties again.
A journalist posted tweets underlining the problems. He wrote:
Have already moved to two different booths — over and above the one mentioned by EC website–all because poll officials have no clue. At one booth, the official hadn’t arrived even at 7.20 A.M. @MahaPolice has been very helpful, though #IndiaElections2019 #LokSabhaElections2019

Voters are at their wits’ end here at Pawar Public School Palava. Many of them, including me, were moved to multiple booths earlier in the morning. People are openly saying that there is an attempt to discourage them from casting their votes. @ECISVEEP pic.twitter.com/thCfWOqMDw
