New Delhi: The Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) campus remained on the boil on Saturday as the counting of votes was stalled by 14 hours due to violence, protests and simmering tension. The JNUSU (Jawaharlal Nehru University Students’ Union) results are expected today.
According to former JNUSU president Shehla Rashid, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) members stormed into the university campus and beat up people. Rashid claimed that four cars entered the campus with ABVP’s Saurabh Sharma’s reference.
