I Don’t Have Much Expectation From Your Government: BJP MP To Haryana CM Khattar

Union Minister of state for chemicals and fertilizers Rao Inderjit Singh expressed his displeasure at Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar’s style of functioning at an event on Sunday.

“I am very saddened to say that I don’t have much expectation from your government in 2019 polls as far as MPs are concerned,” Singh said. The MP was not happy after Khattar was late for the event organised for the fourth-anniversary celebrations of the Modi government.

“You have a battery of officials who could have informed me about your late arrival. But I was made to wait. In future, please take care of this, else don’t invite us,” Singh added.

According to a report in The Print, the Union minister alleged that the Haryana MPs are not kept informed and are being ignored by the state bureaucracy when it comes to giving credit for the completion of projects. He also criticised Khattar for deliberately not including Gurugram in the list of Smart Cities.

After he was publicly admonished, the Haryana chief minister called it an internal matter. “I appreciate that Rao Saheb has not kept this in heart and spoken out but it would have been better if he had said this in a room as it is Ghar ka mamla (internal matter),” Khattar said.
