The Bharatiya Janata Party’s habit of blaming the Congress for all own failures and crises does not seem to have abated, as Karnataka MLA CT Ravi on May 1 tweeted that the Naxal attack in Gadchiroli district, Maharashtra was due to the Congress coming back to power in Chhattisgarh.
In the process, ‘Chowkidar’ Ravi revealed his profound ignorance about basic geography.

It may be noted the Congress only came to power in the state of Chhattisgarh in the 2018 assembly elections. Before that, it was the BJP which was running the state.

When others wondered how come Congress deserves the blame for a state where the BJP is in power, Ravi doubled down on his previous remark with a profanity-laced abusive tirade, adding the state of Andhra Pradesh into the mix and going back as far as 2004 to defend his stance.
