Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan was left red-faced on Thursday when a sudden power cut interrupted his speech while he was attacking former chief minister Digvijaya Singh in Satna, Bhopal.
Ironically, Chauhan was taking a dig at the Congress party leader for his inability to provide sustained electricity in the state during his rule in the state when the outage happened, reported News18. The audience burst into laughter.
Feeling embarrassed, the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) leader then asked his audience to turn on the flashlight of their cell phones and continued his speech.
Chouhan was in Uchehra town addressing the rally as part of his ‘Jan Ashirwad Yatra’.
