One of the videos of the clashes was tweeted by the ruling Aam Aadmi Party’s Twitter handle. In the video, the security forces can be seen throwing stones at the protestors. Referring to the centenary of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre in which the General Dyer had ordered firing on unarmed Indians in Amritsar in 1919, the party called Prime Minister Narendra Modi “General Dyer Modi”.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal also condemned the “brutal lathicharge” on businessmen and said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is against the business community of Delhi.
