With the onset of the holy month of Ramazan, former BJP parliamentarian Tarun Vijay has greeted all on the social media. But his greetings have come with a rider. Not mincing words, Vijay, in his tweet, has extended his wishes to “only those who shun violence and wear Tiranga.” He also said, “Our world and your Ramadan must connect essentially with glory of our nation. Otherwise…”

Soon, he was trolled for using the word “otherwise” which carries an undertone of threat and has upset many.

Vijay has been questioned by many for his conditional greetings.

Another twitter user asked Vijay point-blank as to what he meant by “otherwise”? Vijay sternly replied saying, “Otherwise will keep sending them to their land of ‘traitor’s choice’ as are doing every day. More?” He also posted an article about three militants gunned down near LoC along with his reply. Seems, Vijay couldn’t have been more emphatic than this.

Journalits Anupam Bordoloi retweeted Vijay’s post saying, “Bigotry has no limits in #NewIndia.” Some of the tweets are:

Some even mocked at Vijay by uploading videos and tweeted, “Otherwise I, Tarun Vijay, will come and do a Naagin dance on your doorstep.”

Another twitter user said, “Toh toh toh……Akbar mera naam nahin hai?” and uploaded a song from the flick Amar, Akbar, Anthony.
