Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) veteran Babulal Gaur on Friday, January 25 expressed his disappointment saying the saffron party is sidelining senior leaders.
Speaking to news agency ANI, Gaur said, “BJP has sidelined the senior leaders of the party. If the party doesn’t take the opinion of its senior leaders then its future will not be good. People who had a chance to win were not given a ticket.”

On Thursday, the octagenarian caused major embarrassment to the BJP by suggesting that he might contest Lok Sabha elections from Bhopal constituency on a Congress ticket. “Yes, it’s true that the offer has been made to me recently by none other but Digvijaya Singh with whom I’ve old political ties. I’ve told him that I would think about it,” he had reportedly said.
