The widow of Rakbar Khan, Alwar mob lynching victim, believes that her husband was killed because he was a Muslim.
Asmeena told The Print, “He was killed because he’s a Muslim, Modi is getting Muslims killed… They could’ve sent him to jail, beaten him up, at least they should have spared his life.”
Reporter Sanya Dhingra shared Asmeena’s video on her Twitter handle.
“What do I do with my kids now?”, a teary-eyed Asmeena asks in the video.

Khan was allegedly beaten by a mob in Alwar’s Ramgarh town on July 21, on suspicion of cow smuggling.
Khan was the sole breadwinner in the family.
Umar Mohammad, Khan’s relative, told The Print, “A lot of people who buy cows for dairy purposes are extorted and beaten…this is not the work of gau rakshaks (cow vigilantes), but people who just want to extort money.
