Delhi High Court on Monday ended activist Gautam Navlakha’s house arrest and granted him bail.
The Court set aside the transit remand of Navlakha, after over four weeks of his arrest by the Maharashtra police in Bhima Koregaon violence case.
This comes a few days after the Supreme Court extended the house arrest of Navlakha and the four other rights activists for four weeks.
While Navlakha’s arrest has come to an end, Varavara Rao, Arun Ferreira, Vernon Gonsalves and Sudha Bharadwaj remain under house arrest until October 27.
