A bridge between two villages of Gujarat’s Kheda town, which the children crossed every day in order to reach their schools, broke down two months ago.
However, no government body in the last two months has paid any heed to reconstruct the bridge.

One of the locals told ANI, ‘If we don’t use this bridge, we will have to travel a distance of 10 km instead of 1km.”

Kheda collector IK Patel said on Tuesday, “Construction work will be resumed immediately.”
