NC24x7 first reported the story on June 21, following which the plight of the judge’s daughter was noted by others in the media. “The HC has taken suo-moto cognizance of the confinement of Yashaswini after the media reports surfaced,” NGO Love Commandos’ founder Sanjay Sachdeva said.
Sachdeva told NC24x7 that Chaurasia and his wife Sandhya Chaurasia have locked their daughter in their house in an effort to keep her away from her lover. They have been beating her up while ensuring Bansal hears her cries on call.
Yashaswini is a law graduate from Chanakya National Law University, while Bansal is a Delhi-based advocate.
