Jammu and Kashmir police on Monday slammed activist Madhu Kishwar for falsely accusing the state police and its Director General Shesh Paul Vaid of suspending the SP who killed Burhan Wani.
The J&K police claimed no such development has taken place and asked Kishwar to check facts before sharing any information.

DGP SP Vaid also retweeted the J&K police tweet calling out Kishwar.
On Monday morning, Kishwar said the J&K police suspended the SP because Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti was upset at the killing of Burhan. She even accused the police and the DGP of “playing doormat to jihadi politicians.”

After the police hit out at her, Kishwar called her source Sushil Pandit “very credible”.

This is not the first instance when Kishwar and Pandit are caught spreading fake news.
