Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s PR blitz that was his visit to Kedarnath, provided some interesting visuals of him ‘meditating’ inside a ‘cave’ as cameras clicked away.

The said ‘Rudra cave’, according to a Times Of India report, has a 10-feet high ceiling, comes equipped with a bed and an attached toilet with running water.
A Nehru Institute of Mountaineering (NIM) official told TOI that all arrangements for the PM’s visit had been made in advance, and while the cave was readied by cutting through rock last year.
A Navbharat Times report said that the cave even has a telephone. Five more such caves are to be built and can be booked for Rs 990 a day. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Amit Shah’s son, Jay Shah spent three days (May 9-May 11) in the cave ahead of the PM’s visit.
