Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh Bhupesh Baghel has reportedly been invited to the British Parliament to speak about the “Narwa, Garwa, Ghurwa, Badi (rivers, livestock, domestic dump and farming)” model of development being implemented by the Congress government in the state.
Dainik Bhaskar reported that Baghel would be addressing both Houses of the British Parliament. According to the report, the state government’s move to return to tribals the land acquired for a Tata Steel plant had been praised by European media following which the UK House of Commons and House of Lords decided to honour the newly-elected chief minister.
Sharing the news on Twitter, Baghel tweeted saying his government is committed towards a sustainable model of development which protects natural resources.
