Minister of Railways and Coal Piyush Goyal has turned into a joke format on Twitter. After the minister posted a sped-up video of the new Vande Bharat Express (or Train 18), exaggeratedly boasting the train’s speed, Twitter users had hurried into point out his “mistake”.
It’s a bird…It’s a plane…Watch India’s first semi-high speed train built under ‘Make in India’ initiative, Vande Bharat Express zooming past at lightening speed. pic.twitter.com/KbbaojAdjO

But they did not stop just there.
The hashtag “Faster Goyal”— an allusion to the train video mishap — has found currency. Speed, it would seem from the tweets, is Goyal’s superpower. Goyal also is no longer shackled to the fourth dimension of time.

Massive respect for Piyush Goyal. He just made the Video 2X times faster and called it Semi-High Speed Train when he could have made it 6X times faster and called it Super High Speed Train https://t.co/z0KDsYTBJ1

"India’s first semi-high speed train" claims Piyush Goyal, tweeting a video in 2x speed.
Tomorrow, he'll tweet the same video in 4x speed & call it "India's first bullet train."

Between the Rajnikanth/Chuck Norris school of superhuman jokes, however, hid some potshots, both at the Bharatiya Janata Party’s known habit of exaggerating their work and at Paresh Rawal, whose “Modi math” recently took Twitter by storm — a storm of laughter that is.
Great mathematician like @SirPareshRawal can only solve this. 2X #FasterGoyal pic.twitter.com/4hueilEbov
