Congress president Rahul Gandhi on Thursday, January 10 slammed Prime Minister Narendra Modi after the selection committee headed by him shunted out Alok Verma from the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI).
In a tweet, Rahul Gandhi said that fear is now rampaging through Modi’s mind. “He can’t sleep. He stole 30,000 Cr from the IAF and gave it to Anil Ambani,” Rahul added, indicating that Modi removed Verma fearing that he would launch a probe into Rafale.
Fear is now rampaging through Mr Modi’s mind. He can’t sleep. He stole 30,000Cr from the IAF and gave it to Anil Ambani. Sacking the CBI Chief #AlokVerma twice in a row, clearly shows that he is now a prisoner of his own lies.

Even after Verma was divested of his role as a director in CBI in October last year, Rahul Gandhi alleged that the Modi government ousted the IPS officer as he was willing to inquire the Rafale deal.
After the Supreme Court reinstated Verma on Tuesday, January 8, Rahul Gandhi had tweeted:
The truth of Rafale will destroy Mr Modi. It’s only a question of time before full evidence of his role in the theft of 30,000 Cr. becomes public.
Congratulations to the SC for upholding the law.#AlokVerma

1. Why is the PM in such a tearing hurry to sack the CBI Chief?
2. Why will he not allow the CBI Chief to present his case in front of the selection committee ?
