Asthana has filed a plea in the court seeking quashing of FIR against him. According to ANI, in his reply, Verma noted that Asthana’s petition is unmaintainable since the probe is still in the nascent stage. He said, “Allegations are nothing but the imagination of the petitioner, the petition by Asthana is not maintainable and is misconceived. The investigation is at a nascent stage. Allegations made in the complaint against Asthana and others are very serious and requires thorough probe.”
