BCCI CEO Rahul Johri has been accused of sexual misconduct by an anonymous woman. In screenshots shared on Twitter, the survivor, who had been a colleague of Johri, narrated how Johri was persistent and misled her into his home one evening where he proceeded to ‘manipulate’ her into performing oral sex on him.
Johri has been serving as the BCCI CEO since 2016, reported HT.
Sri Lankan cricketers Lasith Malinga and Arjuna Ranatunga were also accused of sexual harassment. In a Facebook post, an Indian flight attendant described that Ranatunga had grabbed her by the waist. Ranatunga was the captain of the 1996 Sri Lankan team that won the World Cup.
