Two of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) supporters –Sanju Verma and Sonam Mahajan– ended up arguing among themselves during a live debate on news channel News18 India on the issue of rising petrol and diesel prices, reported Newsd.

When anchor Sumit Awasthi posed the question about political parties pressuring their spokespersons to suppress party’s criticism, Mahajan, who is BJP spokesperson from Mumbai, responded that “political parties overpower and say ‘Shut Up’ on national television” to the ones who criticise administrative failures.

Rebutting Mahajan’s claim, columnist-economist Verma resorted to name-calling and said, “You (Mahajan) are a troll.”

Soon, the two right-wing supporters entered in a heated brawl. Finally the news channel had to mute both the speakers to put an end to their argument.
