On Tuesday afternoon, Gautam Navlakha was arrested by Pune police from his residence in South Delhi. He is one of the many human rights activists and intellectuals arrested and detained in multiple raids conducted across the country.

Navlakha has been put on house arrest till Wednesday morning, which is when the case is scheduled to be heard next.
