Punjab Chief Minister Captain Amarinder Singh has written a letter to External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, expressing shock and grief at the confirmation of the murder of 39 Indians in Iraq. In the letter he has also requested the centre to give financial assistance to the bereaved family members, noting that the government of Punjab has already been paying them a sum of Twenty Thousand Rupees every month.
